Joseph Berta completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia where he received the award for outstanding achievement in Commercial Transactions. Joe was called to the bar in 2004 after articling with a large downtown Vancouver firm with over 100 lawyers.

Joe’s practice focuses on real estate and general corporate/commercial matters. Joe advises his clients on issues relating to leases and mortgages, both residential and commercial. Joe also advises clients on various business law issues including the purchase and sale of businesses, asset transactions, and share transactions. Joe negotiates and drafts various commercial agreements, including commercial leases, shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, and trust agreements.
